Ira has collaborated with the Laboratory Dancers since 2010. His original cello recordings have been featured extensively in multiple full-length dance concerts, notably in No News (2011), Experiment # 3.5 (2011), and Runt Pulse (2012). He has also performed live with the company dozens of times, and accompanied the company's weekly class for three years.
